We are selling our 1995 Carver 355. It is a fantastic
boat that has served us well, but we decided to move up to a 58' Hatteras. Unfortunately, we cannot keep them both.
The
boat is in great condition with many upgrades. Currently has about 850 hours on the engines, and has been well maintained. We have been cruising her mostly in the Delaware and Chesapeake areas and she is kept at Neshaminy Marina on the Delaware, north of Philadelphia.
Her only issue is that the
generator has been acting up. We never use it, which is probably the problem. Currently it starts and stalls immediately. Could be a minor issue, could be major, I have no idea, and no expertise in the area. We do not
anchor out very much, and since the
refrigerator is 12volt/120volt, we never use the
generator, which is the problem.
We bought the boat 2 years ago for $65k and it is in better condition now then when we bought it. A
survey is available from that
purchase.
We are offering it at $55k, to reflect the generator issue.
It is currently on land but will be launched in a few weeks, after we refresh the
bottom paint.
Here is a video of my wife showing the boat to her friends:
