Priced to sell, great condition, full keel, classic Carl Alberg designed, 1975 Cape Dory 28 sailboat for sale with an extensive list of upgrades. Sails are in great shape and her original engine has been replaced with a brand new Yanmar 2GM20F inboard diesel engine back in 2005 (less than 400 hours). Also, just installed OEM parts from the Yanmar minor kit; new raw water impeller, V-belts, oil filter, air filter and primary and secondary fuel filters. Engine is in amazing shape! She also received a chain plate refit back in 2016, which will provide owners a high level of confidence in the rigging.

Step below the deck into an ample interior with teak throughout, including five berths, a drop-leaf table, well-designed storage, a large closet and a privacy door to the head with stainless sink and forward v-berth. The galley features dual aluminum water tanks, a two burner alcohol stove, stainless sink and an insulated icebox. Sleeps four comfortably.

Boat is very sturdy with a solid fiberglass construction, large cockpit, spacious foredeck, two hatches, bronze ports, and classic teak combings and trim. She is built like a tank and can take her owner(s) and crew anywhere they would like to go. Cape Dory 28's were built as extremely seaworthy coastal cruisers, but many owners have pushed these vessels well beyond their "Coastal Cruiser" status.
