- - - - - Beautiful Beneteau Oceanis 430 - - - -

Hello All,

I'm selling my beautiful '92 Beneteau Oceanis 430. I've spent the last two years doing an $80k refit on her getting ready to cruise. If you are looking for that gem of a boat, look no further. She shines like new and is stronger than can be.

Checkout all the photos/specs on "Rhea's" website below:
Rhea

List of some of the new stuff.

new standing rigging
new running rigging
new raymarine chartplotter
new raymarine instruments
new raymarine radar
new asymmetric spinnaker
new 110% jib
new 135% jib
new bimini / dodger
new full enclosure
new solar panels
new racing spinnaker pole
new house batteries
new dinghy
new storm jib
new 275ft chain rode
new viking life raft
new lifelines

Length: 43'
Beam: 13'
Draft: 5'4"
Displacement: 19800lb

Feel free to contact me through the website's contact page, or here. Make an offer if you'd like. Asking $129,000. Happy to do a delivery on the west coast.

Selling her because the admiral wanted a catamaran. As far as used boats go, a boat which someone else has done all the refit work on is going to the best value of anything.

Cheers! Fair winds and a following sea.

Damn, too bad the Admiral didn't speak up before the refit!

I'm not in the market but just want to say you did a really good job with the website! Great pictures too. I wish all listings had pro quality photos like that.

You wouldn't want to trade down to a 1997 Beneteau 38 would you ;-) Oh well. If I sell mine fast enough I will be contacting you. It's just what I'm looking for.

Beautiful boat! If I were looking g now it might actually have me considering a monohull instead of a catamaran! May I ask wat qualities he admiral sees the catamaran fulfilling that this beauty cannot?

Thanks for the compliments guys! It feels good when hard work pays off.

Mark - Already have the catamaran but there ain't nothing wrong with a smaller boat! If you do manage to sell your bene, I'd be happy to do the sleigh ride down to So Cal with you.

Boathooked - The admiral has deemed monohulls unfit for children. I advocated for towing them in the dinghy but the request was not approved. Not that we have any but it could happen down the road.

If anyone looking at this listing is interested in creating something similar, the camera used for most of the photos was an Sony Alpha 6000 with the stock 16-50mm lens and a 55-210mm telephoto for a bunch of the close in shots. As far as cameras go, they aren't too expensive to pick up. The camera is $500-$600 when it is on sale and the telephoto is an extra $200 on top of that (when on sale)

Squarespace also lives up to its branding. Its pretty easy to make a nice looking website with them.

Looks like it would have been cheaper to get a new Admiral

Impressive photos and sales website. These days it's pretty easy to make a site that is similarly impressive and I don't know why everyone doesn't do similar when selling their boat.

Good luck with selling her.

Quite possibly. When your partner tells you to get a bigger faster boat, its really hard to say no though.

Just added a few shots of the spinnaker inventory to the gallery:
