Re: Admiral Excutive 38

Cockpit photos taken this morning in Vero Beach. The sails are original and are in excellent condition, they were stored inside when on the hard and covered with the stack pack immediately after every use.

Re: Admiral Excutive 38

For some reason, I've always been drawn to the admirals. Maybe because it was the first cat I saw that was live aboard.
Unfortunately you are selling a couple years early for us.
Good luck with the sale. It looks like you took good care of her.

Re: Admiral Excutive 38

Chris, thanks for the kind words, we visited the boat show">Miami boat show in 2005 and felt the Admiral 38 was equipped with everything needed to to safely cruise the world in luxury. After crossing the Atlantic from South Africa in 2006 and sailing back and forth between Maine and the Bahamas for the past seven years we've felt we made a wise decision purchasing Makana.

A search of catamarans on the market in the mid $200K reveals that Makana is by far the best deal in terms of the vessels condition and equipment aboard. The reason we are selling is that our daughter who's lived aboard most of her life wants to spend her high school years skiing and living on land and I don't want to see Makana end up spending most of her time on the hard as she deserves better, cheers.

That's ironic, the reason we are waiting 2-3 years before buying, is both our boys are in high school.
We took our youngest and his girlfriend snowboarding up at marmot basin, Jasper. on Saturday. Lots of snow through the day and warm temps. They had a blast, so I totally understand your daughters desire to come back shoreside.
Once again makana is a beautiful boat, and good luck with the sale.
