Keep that light and pole. The new one doesn’t collapse, it’s three plastic pierces that screw together, and not nearly as nice, plus the light doesn’t have a magnet in it anymore.

Thanks for the advice. I may edit the listing. I’m kinda partial to that light and would love to have it on our new (to us) Boston Whaler tender. The magnet is one of its best features.

AB 10AL Aluminum Hull RIB

I spoke too soon, it seems the pole is still for sale at least at Marine Beam
https://store.marinebeam.com/transom...le-nav-lights/

This is the kit that I thought replaced it, apparently four sticks, and the light doesn’t have the magnet, it has the GoPro kind of mount
https://store.marinebeam.com/led-nav...it-for-dinghy/

I liked collapsing the pole as opposed to taking four pieces apart and storing them in the plastic box.

I have that boat, and it’s interesting to see how you did pretty much the same things, but differently, like the fuel filter, I mounted mine to the transom. They way you did it is more out of the way.

Re: AB 10AL Aluminum Hull RIB

Do you use the trim-color or the all around white?

Thanks. It is a great boat. Our new (to us) trawler came with a Boston Whaler tender. It was a difficult choice deciding which tender to keep.
