Recently returned from 9 months of cruising down the
east coast of the US (ICW and offshore) and down through the
Bahamas to Mayaguana and back. This vessel is a well-equipped cruiser that is priced to sell.
History: In 1978 Camper Nicholson commissioned Ron
Holland to design a 35’ Class V IOR Racer/Cruiser. CN built 25 hulls. Three of these were entered in the 1979 Fastnet
Race (“The Deadliest Storm in the
History of Modern Sailing”) and all survived even after several knockdowns. The IOR specifications were changed after that
race and the
boat was no longer compliant and CN abandoned the
project after the 25 hulls were completed.
