60' performance/cruise catamaran

1999 60'X29', catamaran built with epoxy composite vacuum bagged construction, fast cruiser, she draws 3.5'. 4 cabins with queen size berths, 4 heads and showers. two crews cabins with single berths. Large light main salon that seats 12-13. Yanmar 88hp on port side has 1100 hours, Yanmar on starboard side has 2200 hours and runs a compressor for two refrigerators and one freezer with holding plates . Factory reconditioned Spectra water maker. New Calvert main and jib, screecher will need to be replaced soon. Standing rigging has 4 day trips on it. She tacks and goes to weather very well, has a great motion in the ocean with a 14.5:1 WL to beam ratio. Large platform on aft deck for rigging windsurfers and kites close to the swim steps.

They are getting 18 to 20k per week in the Virgin Islands for term charters.

We have two new 100w solar panels , the house battery bank is AMG but the LTO cells look fantastic and if I keep the boat that's what I will run on the next big cruise. We used 8 large gels in the past and got 12 years out of them but NEVER discharged below 12.2v

Couple silly questions, she only have a dagger board on the starboard side? What sort of sailing speeds have you experienced, and how high into wind will she point.
Also, how difficult would it be to install divets?

Hi,

Performance with one board is great , we would see 11 knots @ 35 degrees apparent in 18 knots of wind speed. The only difference between one and two boards was big seas the bow would foot off a bit at the top of the swell
