42' min sailboat with aft cabin

My wife, 2 year old, 3 dogs and I want to finally go for it. After a lot of research we have found that an aft cabin with a double berth that has good headroom is our main focus.

Our price range is about $55,000.

Of course like anyone else and the reason we're all here, is as close to a turn key voyaging and cruising setup.

We understand our budget isn't big and we figure we can slowly add as we go. We are located in south Florida and also like to meet people in the community.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Has 6'4" headroom and aft cabin bunk 7' long and 6' wide ; it needs a little upgrading but has all the cruising gear.

Go to YachtWorld and do a surch, there’s a few boats in Florida they look like they work for your needs. Find a good Surveyor and do the research before you make the plunge.

You may look into an Endeavour 42 CC, Morgan 44 CC or Pearson 422, they all have a center line queen in the master stateroom. In July we purchased an Endeavour 42 CC in Port Charlotte Florida, at the time there were 3 or 4 on the market in this area and a few Morgan 44 CC in Florida as well. There currently is a decent looking (possibly ready to go) Endeavour 42 on Yacht World in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Our Catalina 400 is a bit smaller than you are looking at, but it does have a killer aft cabin!

Definitely you should limit your search to center cockpit boats for a true aft cabin layout.
