25' Cape Dory, 1975 brand new

Completely striped and re-painted inside and out. EVERYTHING has been replaced this past year. You will not find a nicer Cape Dory or any other boat this old in this nice of condition. Mast and boom freshly painted, New standing rigging from Mack sail, new sails. and sail cover. Garmin 7" GPS, Compass, interior and exterior cushions. two water tanks with pressure system with transom wash down, new faucet. Mahogany wood interior and exterior, solid wood toe rail and rub rail with SS striker edge, all exterior wood sprayed with Awlbright high gloss finish. 3 Bright polished brass winches.
All lighting LED. even the lockers have blue LED courtesy lighting. New 31 series 31 AGM battery. This is a great boat that is fast and stable. great sailing machine in a small package. I get compliments everywhere I go, People all want to know what she is? She is a true classic in gorgeous shape.
I was going to keep her for a few years when a new boat/home is on the horizon so it must go. Any questions please feel free to contact me or call, 772-349-3696 Ray, asking $17,500.00

She's a beauty! Nice work. I've been a fan of the Cape Dory line for a long time. Hope she finds a good home.

She does indeed look to be beautifully restored. Some information about engine and included equipment would be welcome. Specs? survey?

BEAUTIFUL! Same as my first boat, but she never looked that good.

Re: 25' Cape Dory, 1975 brand new

The motor is a 9.9 Evinrude, about a 1995, has a new carb. and fuel tank, 3gal lasts a long time, has electric start, with new cables and on/off breaker. eng looks good under cowling but rough on top which I like BC its likely not to get stolen. I also have a 2005? Sealion tandem trailer with it, never been in the water as we use a travel litf to launch her. has a great solid folding SS ladder, very stout. not a cheap folding ladder that collapses and punches yur fingers and toes. Anyone that has had one knows what I talking about. also a 10lb? I think, anchor with 15' chain spliced to 300' 1/2" 8-plaite line. It's way over kill but I got it for free so it's on the boat.
and typical safety CG equip, 2-fire ext. horn, flare kit.

Tall or Short Rig?
Great refit, probably best I've ever seen on a boat in that size range

Re: 25' Cape Dory, 1975 brand new

I'm not sure if it's a tall rig or not, mast is approx.. 30' over deck. So whatever that makes it is anyone's guess?
Thank you for the kind words. Looking to sell quickly so please make a fair offer.
Tnx Ray
