2015 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 (Low Hours)

Purchased new in November 2016 from Jeanneau dealer that hadn’t sold the boat yet. Shipped to Charleston SC and sailed to the Bahamas (currently sailing back to east coast of Florida).

The solar panels and battery bank allowed us to live on the hook without running out of power. The batteries are often fully charged by early afternoon. This meant we could make hot water and ice everyday.

I also kept full maintenance records of the boat and will include spare parts: oil, filters, fuel filters, aluminum anodes, alternator belts, coolant, etc..

I will get the drone up in the air this afternoon to get shots of the boat with both sails open...

Re: 2015 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 (Low Hours)

Probably the tightest 409 I've seen. Great solar and battery setup.

Can I ask a question unrelated to the sale? I have a 379 and am looking to install the Mantus Anchormate to alleviate the anchor wobble. Can you comment on how it worked for you? I would like to install it in the unused hole a few inches behind the actual roller vs using the roller bolt itself but worry it might not contact our 45lb Mantus from that position. Any info would be appreciated.

I just bolted it onto the unused hole and it works perfectly!

A bit too windy to get the drone up but I was able to get a shot of the boat sailing for the dinghy.

Living this lifestyle for the past 8 months has solidified our decision to continue doing this forever. We have lots of family that visit so are upgrading to a bigger boat.

I forgot to mention that I am including a Yamaha EF2000ISv2. This is what we use to run our air conditioning (Cruisair Turbo 16,000 BTU A/C) on the hook.

Ad looks great as does the boat. It is virtually out of the box brand new.

Thanks Bill!

We are almost back to the US. Planning to be in West Palm Beach for at least a month if anybody would like to come see the boat.

Considering sailing it up to Annapolis MD for the summer.

Re: 2015 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 (Low Hours)

I have decided to drop my asking price from $279,900 to $249,900. ($30k drop)

I have a full list of comparable boats that have sold recently and the ACTUAL prices they have sold for and it makes sense to list my boat at those prices. At the end of the day, the market ultimately decides what something is worth...

With that said, my boat includes a TON of extras when compared to other boats that have sold so whoever buys this boat is getting an incredible deal.
