1984 Lancer motorsailor w/ flybridge

1984 Lancer 45 Motorsailor
Masthead Sloop rigged
45' OAL
13'-9" Beam
Draft 6'
37'-3" LWL
24,000 lbs. displacement
7,000 lbs. ballast

(2) Perkins ST6.3544M Turbo charged diesels (200 HP ea.), (hours roughly 600 ea) both run great with no blow-by and show good oil pressure. They were completely serviced in late 2015 to include new oil coolers, gear coolers and after coolers, thermostats, circulating pumps, raw water pumps, and updated Racor water seperators. Both Velvet drive gears (2.3:1 ratio), had new output shaft seals and new flanges installed in 2015 as well, with one prop shaft being replaced. It has a Kubota 7kw diesel generator, just serviced. Runs awesome and powers all systems on the boat. 2-16,000 BTU A/C-heatpumps work great. All new bronze ball valves on the whole boat installed on newly resealed through hull fittings (12 total throughout the boat). New 6 gal hot water heater with heat exchanger hooked up, new saltwater wash down pump, Brand new holding tank and plumbing for head as well as new macerator pump. Electric head just fully serviced also. New shower water discharge pump. All systems work. Flybridge with full controls up top and all sails deployed from the main cabin. Full galley, head, shower, (2) state rooms, big salon. Nice long distance cruiser/motorboat.

Last bottom job done in early 2016. Inspection/partial survey was done at that time.

The mast is pulled right now due a water leak before we got it. I have a new compression post for it and the interior sole has been replaced. The two state rooms need the walls reinstalled and the compression post reinstalled so the mast can be restepped. The mast is primed and ready for paint right now, and I have the paint to do it with. This is a vessel that is almost completely put back together.

I recently installed a Garmin GPSMaps 8212 head unit with all the wind instruments needed for the mast.

Both engines and generator run perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to run this boat anywhere. It is very reliable as is and I have all the maintenance records on it since I've owned it and worked on it. I don't have the time to finish her and would like to offer her to someone that would enjoy her more than I will. Email me if serisou and we can go over a lot more information that I may have left out. I'm open to offers on her.

It is a USCG documented vessel and TX regsitered as well. She's located at the Peoples Street T-head and can be shown by appointment if serious. I have tons more detailed photos to share that I don't think will fit on here. Just ask.

$49,500 or trade.

Looking for a trailerable vessel such as a pontoon or recreational day boat for trade up or down.

The only soft spot is where I had the mast leak. The deck is negative camber in that spot right now since it's not repaired yet. I wanted to replace the compression post before I did that. Otherwise it very sound with no soft spots anywhere. It runs a main and a jib. Both are furler. The main cannot be deployed with the bimini up though. No boom on this one. Just a track on both main and jib. Salon windows do leak but only under a heavy wave. All port holes are resealed with new gaskets and screens. I tried to call and left a voice mail. Call anytime before 9 p.m.
