Re: Leopard powercat 51
They do not show the
Leopard 47 PC powercat on the website anymore, so maybe they are working on a new one. Only sell the Leopard 39 PC powercat right now.

Re: Leopard powercat 51
They produced a
power version of the 3900 sail cat. They will probably do the same a produce a
power version of the new 48 sail cat.

Then I guess it will look like a Leopard 48 with a larger
helm deck uptop

Yes if they stay true to course I believe that is what's coming. I have been on the 48 and It should make one heck of a power cat!

Re: Leopard powercat 51
Talked to Leopard at the
Miami show and they are coming out with a 51. Same layout as the new 48 but with a fly bridge. No inside
helm , but there is a space where you can rig one.

Here is the fuel use for the current Leopard 47PC with 150HP Cummins.
I chartered one for ten days and used one engine to cruise the BVI .
We used only one engine at 2000 rpm going 7.5 to 9.5 knots depending on sea conditions. She tracked straight as an arrow on autopilot .
Ten day sail and used 46.6 gal of diesel

Re: Leopard powercat 51
Hopefully it has an
electric grill like their 58' Cat - we were on that a couple weeks ago and the
electric is so much better than gas or charcoal that can blow out or be hard to light in strong winds.
