Based on your experience with boats, do you think if hte manufacturer could put a 2nd helmstation inside the saloon upon request like in FP Summerland [We live in hot country, need to drive with A/c sometimes]?

I believe the Leopard 43 PC was at the boat show">Miami boat show...Anyone has been on board? Would be curious to hear if they are still placing the engine under the aft beds. Wouldn't that make it a very noisy cabin underway? and what about the fuel smell?

The engines are not under the aft berths, they are under the cockpit. What is under those berths is the fuel and water tanks, the AC strainers and some bilge pumps. Very heavy to lift up those berths. Engines are under the berths in PDQ, and that is noisy.

I take that back. Looking at the brochure with the side view, it's clear that the engines must be located forward of the cockpit area, and hence under the berths. I hate that......

Yeah...hate it too. So far was only able to get feedback from 1 customer of the Leopard Powercat. He mentioned that obviously it's noisy so if one wanted to sleep they would run on a single engine at the opposite hull.

The other disadvantage was when doing maintenance, they had to remove all belongings from the cabin and if having oil/fuel maintenance issues, the whole cabin would smell for a while...

Just so you know, the Leopard 37pc, and Leopard 39pc has engine hatches in the cockpit as I described. I have a 37pc. Much quieter.

Just noticed your avatar now Are you still a happy camper with the 37PC ? How does it handle being moored/anchored considering the beam is on the small side? (for a cat)

I'm very happy with it. Here is SW Florida out anchorages are all very protected and pretty flat calm so I can't attest to what mooring or anchoring in the open might be like. At 14' 8" is indeed not very beamy. It's not a flat ride in beam seas over 3 ft. The good news is I fit in most any slip.
