Port O’Connor, TX

Does anyone have local knowledge on anchoring near Port O’Connor, Texas for a 6 foot draft sailboat? I’ve hear there is room to anchor just inside the jetties in the Bay

Come through the jetties, then hang a right between the barrier island and the little lump o island. The shrimp boats usually run through here to anchor as well.

It’s been a while since we’ve been through there, so proceed slowly. But the bottom is sand and mud.
