While it is true that there are numerous snakes at times, and that they are indeed venomous, they simply are not a problem. They are docile, non-aggressive and pretty slow on the land... and not interested in you in the water
We've encountered many a " tricot raye" in our long experience of New Cal
, and had to remove them from boats and dinghies. None of them made any attempt to bite or otherwise threaten us.
As to charter companies, sorry, no experience there.
