Cruising to Avalon

Good news and bad news…I recently got laid off (the bad news…or is it?), and now I have the time to cruise to Catalina from just north of San Diego. Wanted to see if anyone else is going to make that run this or next week…would love to lead or trail. I ask as I am going alone…all of my friends have jobs *(yuk, right?!) and don't have to 3-4 days it's going to run me. My plan is to hop from O'side to Dana Point, anchor, then next day to Avalon. Stay 1-2 nights, then run on back to Oside.

If I was around, this would be motivation enough for me! But I'm sadly in MS now...

(btw, just got a call from the marina... apparently there is a whirring/beeping/hum sound coming from my bow... I don't have a whirring beeping hummer up there????)

ANYWAY... Two Harbors has a winter deal, pay for 2 nights+$2 get 7 more free... Double check tho....
