Exclamation Severe WX Warning Madagasgar / Reunion / West Indian Ocean

Latest advisory is in from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center on the Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclone named Giovanna. Based on satellite estimates it's the equivalent of a U.S. category 4 hurricane. Center expected to make landfall in Madagascar this evening U.S. time.

fortunately it will pass very sparsely populated areas,generally when these cyclones hit mada or mozambique most deaths are caused by flooding.

I feel badly for the lemurs. Their radios don't get the WX frequencies, poor little tykes.
