Hurricane Nicole

So, Nicole is out there trying to decide what to do. Be careful everyone and especially those folks in Bermuda. The NHC has it going north over Bermuda and then NE but this one seems like it might be a little unpredictable.

Re: Hurricane Nicole

Hey, Phil, first on the block with the new hurricane thread! Well, those guys who were prepared for Matthew, I hope they're still prepared. And I hope the guy with the orange cat can get it relocated. Double whammy.

All you guys who can, get to your boats and prepare them.

Good luck to you all.

Ann

Re: Hurricane Nicole

Hi Ann. How is the eye?

Nicole has just been wandering a bit and building from a TS. Very interesting to watch.

Re: Hurricane Nicole

Nicole now rated a category 2 hurricane. The NHC has it aimed directly at Bermuda.

Date with Nicole tomorrow.

2122 hrs 10/12/2016.
Sitting here with SE 20kts, enjoying a Dark 'n Stormy, waiting for Nicole early tomorrow morning, solid Cat 2, gusting into Cat 3 country. Bluestocking stripped of all canvas on her hurricane mooring in front of the house. The ESE 115 knt gusts should be fun. Reminds me of Fabian, House faces due South.

Keep your head down Blue Stocking. I wish you all the best of luck.

P.S.: I had already started a thread on hurricane Nicole. Maybe we can get these threads merged.

Yo Mark, you ain't the only one who hate it. Had our share in Florida the last 18 years

Good luck in Bermuda. Should be ok for the boat to swing on a mooring. Hopefully a strong mooring.
Keep us posted, pictures and all.
