All the best for your beautiful islands.

Re: Date with Nicole tomorrow.
Much good luck with Nicole. I sit here waiting for my blind date with Songda, but opinions vary. Some tell me she'll limp in like an old lady and others are predicting a very smart and sassy dame. (Although it all scares the bejesus out of me, I have to admit that I love storms - Sandy was the worst but she didn't cure me.)
Let us know how you fared.

Re: Date with Nicole tomorrow.
News reports said the eye went over the islands. Were you in the eye? I would find that incredably interesting (as long as i survived and the boat too)
How was it? Any boat damage?

Re: Date with Nicole tomorrow.
MarkJ, the Weather Channel reported that the eye took a jog around the island however the western eye wall passed right over it.
They are showing lots of damage.

Sitting here with SE 20kts, enjoying a Dark 'n Stormy, waiting for Nicole early tomorrow morning, solid Cat 2, gusting into Cat 3 country. Bluestocking stripped of all canvas on her hurricane mooring in front of the house. The ESE 115 knt gusts should be fun. Reminds me of Fabian, House faces due South.

Re: Date with Nicole tomorrow.
Nicole is still spinning out in the NA as a Cat 1. She has great staying power.
