Warmer winter in the western part, but not in the eastern part of the Atlantic where the waves start.... I would think that there might be less waves going across, but the ones that would start might be stronger, no?

Re: 2012 Atlantic hurricane forecast

I’m not sure, anyone knows- I’m crossing this year, and I have a house in South Florida, so I hope it’s there when I return, it’s too early to tell , they always come out with a prediction early than revise it in a few months so this one means little, a more realistic one will come in June/July

IMO, it doesn't matter how many are predicted. It only takes one to ruin your day!

Re: 2012 Atlantic hurricane forecast

Warmer?

It is colder and drier here!

As you may remember these forecasts called for MORE than average back in 2010 and 2011. Actually, it was quite the opposite!

This time, let's hope they are correct!

;-)

Amen!

Simple definition.... Good hurricane season: years you don't get hit
