We also do mobile barrier coating and ablative bottom painting.

We're new here to Cruisersforum, but we do a lot of mobile Farrow System boat bottom blasting between New York NY and Baltimore MD... mainly New Jersey, eastern PA and Delaware as well as the Raritan Bay and lower Hudson.

Our process is simular to Soda Blasting... only it doesn't make the nasty dust and it's a lot cleaner both on your boat as well as around and in your marina.

Many of the boats we blast we also barrier coat and ablative paint.

Here's a Mid 1970's 36ft 365 Pearson we just took the old bottom paint off of:


This is the OLD BOTTOM PAINT at around 9:00am in the morning before started putting down the ground cover and tenting.


This is a around 3:00pm in the afternoon after we cleaned up and took it down to this nice powder blue gel-coat... For an older boat she had a nice bottom.

Nice boat... our client is restoring it and the plan is to sand everything above the waterline and paint it with AwlGrip.

We're also doing the Farrow System blasted bottom with 2 coats of Sea Hawk Tuff-Stuff epoxy barrier paint and two coats of Cukote multi season ablative paint.

This time of year it can be pretty cold up here in the Northeast as in 27º to 35º... heres a nice little 24' Sailboat we did yesterday on Staten Island NY
