Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Might be a problem, apparently the Depart of Antiquities isn't happy about old relics being sold abroad.

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Okay, this is a picture from a Westsail 32 for sale. Now, I've looked at it and looked at it, and I cannot figure out what this is supposed to be showing me. It's on it's side, I'm pretty sure. That alone indicates a stupid seller. Come on, how hard is it to rotate your pictures? But even when I look at it sideways, I still can't figure out what it is.

A poorly made bunk with almost no overhead room?

It's a bunk with a really tatty mattress and about 1 foot of clearance over most of it towards the foot. There are drawers and a cupboard underneath (Left is top)

I think that pic is a partially deflated air mattress.

Looking at the picture again, I would agree with it being a mattress but looking at the floor and seeing the triangular panel, I would say that's a picture of the v-berth from a low angle and that foot of clearance is toward the bow end of the berth.

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Interesting how the discussion has gone back and forth as to what exactly is in that picture. That alone is a pretty good indication that it was incredibly stupid of the seller to think this picture was going to help sell his boat.
