Re: Maurise Griffifs Golden Hind Bilge keel

Okay so first off I'm a big time newbie, no intention of buying a boat for at east two years, but I've been scanning the sites like eBay kijiji craigslist to get an idea of what's out there for the past few months (I can dream). However nothing pains me more than to see a beautiful boat for sale by a serious seller with only one picture taken from the other side of the river. Buyers expect more, inside, outside, in water and out. Just saying, it'll get much more attention that way. Cheers.

I've read almost all of his books.

It's spelled: Maurice Griffiths.

Even in American English.

It may be a Maurise Griffifs, his cockney brother. After all, it is a "beatifull" boat, so who knows?

It would be great if the seller could add a few more pictures to get a better impression of the boat. However, I could not resist posting this one here. I think she is a stunner (even from far away).

That is not a Golden Hind. Not sure what is up with the advert, but the specs make no sense either.

Looks like a yawl with a binnacle and wheel to me. The specs. say sloop with a tiller.

Looked again. 100,000 foot vertical clearance? That's one tall mast, I don't know how the 500# of ballast keeps it upright, lol.
