February Giveaway: Win a Mantus Anchor!

We are pleased to announce a new feature at Cruisers Forum which we hope will help our members learn about the sponsors who support our community. Our goal is create ways for our members to engage with our sponsors earning a chance to win a prize donated by the sponsor. We feel this will provide the sponsor a unique opportunity to embrace our laser focused audience and provide our amazing members an easy and free way to win some gear!

A special thanks to Mantus Anchors for stepping up and providing the prize for our first give-a-way, a FREE 35 lbs anchor ($330 value). If you already have an anchor or need a different size, you can use the $330 credit to buy any of the other high quality Mantus products found in their online store.

Sponsor Information:
The Mantus Anchor is a multipurpose, high-performance, new generation boat anchor. Over the last decade, tests performed by Cruising World, Practical Sailor, Sail and PMY magazines proved that new-generation type boat anchors outperform the traditional designs.

Give-A-Way Information:
Mantus Anchors is giving away $330 of anchor products this month, to one lucky member!

To enter, simply do the following:
  1. Visit the site (Mantus Anchors and Hooks)
  2. Select the products you would like if you win (Copy the URLs)
  3. Paste the URLs into a post in this thread/discussion
That's all you have to do!

Notes:
  • Contest will run for the month of February 2013. No purchase required.
  • Only one post per member is allowed in this thread. Duplicates will be deleted.
  • You can select more than $330 in merchandise, the winner will get a credit towards what ever it is you want to buy.
More Rules and Info:
  1. Any member of Cruisers Forum may enter.
  2. Members can only post once in the contest thread.
  3. Members must post a link back to Mantus Anchor site to the products they would buy with their $330 Credit.
  4. Members who wish to select an anchor of higher value than $330 may do so; and agree to pay the difference.
  5. At the end of February we will close the thread and randomly pick a post in the thread, that will be the winner.
  6. If there are 200 entries we will use Random.org to choose a number between 2 -200 (seeing the first post is the announcement). What ever number is selected equates to the post number that wins.
  7. We announce the winner at the end of the thread and close it again.
Note: Rule 2 states "Members can only post once in the contest thread".
Members who break the rules will be disqualified!

If you are bursting to ask a question about this awesome Giveaway, I have created a FAQs thread for you to post on, so you don't have to get disqualified from here for double posting!!!

Re: February CF Giveaway - Win a Mantus Anchor!

My choice is a shiny one for the tender. I do like it that it can be stowed compactly when you aren't planning on using it. Would contemplate one of the big ones (galvanised...) as a spare anchor if there was a way of getting it to Seattle area for a good price.

Re: February CF Giveaway - Win a Mantus Anchor!

Thanks Mantus. Good marketing idea, and nice support of CF.

I guess I'd go for a bigger anchor, the 85 lbs Galvanized Steel Mantus Anchor
