Bull Canyon, a Boatbuilder, a Writer and Other Wildlife chosen as Amazon Kindle 100
This is good news for anyone with ebook readers as my publisher has agreed to reduce the price of the ebook to $2.99 for the next twenty days. Seems the folks at Amazon who choose which books to recommend each month were impressed that the Women Writing the West Conference chose my memoir as one of two finalists for the WILLA Cather literary Award for Creative Non-fiction. Hello Lin,
We hear whispers around here that you and Larry will be attending this year's Wooden Boat Show at Hobart. If so, would nice to met. Presently we're stuck on the hard in Kettering, repairing and painting, getting Banyandah ready for another long voyage. All the best from Jack and Jude

I paid full price for this book, and it was worth every penny.
I especially liked your perspective. I think I am growing past 'how to' and 'what happened' sailing books and am now more interested in 'why', what people feel it adds up to, and what their internal dialog is.

Hi Jude, Jack
it is not a rumor, we are guest speakers at the Wooden Boat show in Hobart next month. Haven't been in Tasmania for 22 years. Last time was wonderful but never explored Hobart itself. Hope we meet up with some old friends and new ones too. See you there.

Hi Lin! Thanks for autographing my hard copy at the Newport show. I still love the feel of a real book in my hands, and so much better to read on the beach in the sun. Cheers.

Great book. I planned on buying this at some point, but I could not resist the $2.99 offer. Read it this weekend while getting over the flu. I have had my own boat building project on going now for several years. I haven't had to deal with mud or fires, we have had some interesting challenges though. Here is a link to an album which shows the progress of our boat, https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A45oqs3qSIv7z
The book was truly inspirational. Thanks
Mark

I just finished reading your book on my Kindle. Great! I had a particular connection as I used to dirt bike in that area. I suspected that the residents were real individualists but stuck together in a crises and your book described that culture very nicely.
Thanks for letting us know about the Kindle deal.

Lin,
I really enjoyed your story. Your optimism and determination came shining through. Thanks for the $2.99 Kindle deal. My first e-book.
Mike
