What fuse between battery/battery monitor

Hi there,

I've bought a trimetric battery monitor, and getting ready to install it. I've got everything figured out, only the fuse puzzles me. The manual makes note of a 1 amp fuse to be installed in line with the positive cable from the battery.

I've found plenty fuse-holders, but they all seem real flimsy to put in line with such a big batterycable. It just looks like putting a very, very weak link in a very big chain.

Is this the way it's supposed to be? What would you consider a proper batteryfuse and holder?

Re: What fuse between battery/battery monitor

Re-read the installation instructions. The 1 Amp fuse is intended for the positive lead to the monitor, not the battery "cable".
