Victron Phoenix Charger Dips Intermittently

Occasionally, my Phoenix Charger 12/30 "dips".

The charger is hooked up to 120V AC when this happens. I can hear the fan on the charger spin down and back up in the course of about 1-1.5 seconds. If I look at my ammeter while it's doing this, it's jumping around to random values between 0A and something like 4A. I'm hardly using any DC when this happens.

My batteries are (2) Victron 6V AGM's.

Any ideas how to start troubleshooting?

Could this simply be a case where your bank is FULL and no more current can be put back into the bank?

What's the voltage when this happens?

Re: Victron Phoenix Charger Dips Intermittently

How old is the unit?

It could be a loose connection on the AC power side or intermittent failure of a capacitor.

Not something I would leave running unattended until I had it bench tested.
