Victron mppt?

Thinking of four 100 watt flexible inexpensive panels, each with a Victron brand mppt controller. As the cheap-o (relatively) panels crap out in a few years then they could be swapped out with the ever less expensive and more powerful new tech.
The Victron controllers are available locally for me, and the panels run about $375 Canadian.Would this make sense or am I trying to be too cheap!!
