Victron BlueSolar mppt warns to not turn off?

Ever since a firmware update, when I go to switch off battery charging using the app, it triggers a warning to not turn charging off except during maintenance. Previously the message when you turned off charging was just that charging would remain off until you turned it back on.

Is there any reason to not leave charging off for a period to time? I don’t have a hard switch between the panels and their mppts. I plan to o add some but in the interim need to do some battery conditioning which is hard without the panels offline.

Well conditioning the batts is exactly the kind of maintenance they're talking about.

I suspect the message is there for people who might shut down charging for long periods without isolating the bank, not realizing that will harm it.

You knowing what you're doing, ignore such messages.
