Thank you, how does the fuse look and on which cable would it be on? (- cable?)

Again thank you all, I found the fuses between the batteries and the Victron. They are all OK - I even measured them. I will noe with my technician open the unit to do som more meassuring inside. Unfortunately it looks like I will be needing a new unit...

According to the manual the blinking of the temperature is due to a too high internal temperature or too high a load. The temperature is unlikely if the device was just switched on, but if you have a Multi-control you could set the amperage current limit down low and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise I'm afraid you've exhausted your options.
