Trojan T-1275 GC12

Why use Trojan-1275 150A instead of two 6V T-105? Both are Golf Carts batteries.

The 12V version is less cabling as you do not have to connect in series.

They are also cheaper/Ah.

Do they not last as long as T-105 ?

Anyone with experience?

Trojan says the T-1275 delivers the same number of cycles in the lab as do the T-105. They are both equally robust in the lab.

2 T-105s give you about 1/3 more usable capacity. Albeit in a bigger/heavier footprint.

I don't think there is any real downside to using 1275s if you have the space to install the same capacity.

Actually if you have the height, then L16 batteries are usually a good selection.

Check your price against Duracell / Deka GC at $1 per AH @12V, IMO on par with regular Trojan.

But their RE version is another level, priced accordingly

Buy basic batts locally only, shipping robs all the value.

At $5 / AH then maybe less important. . .
