Sterling Power Regulator for LiFePo4 battery?

I am thinking about installing on my new boat - new to me, now without battery - a small lithium battery (winston 90Ah) for taking her to England (she is on Mallorca now). I am looking how to charge it best and cheapest option (not exactly with cash now, boats aren't cheap...). Have an alternator on the engine, do not know current setting yet (boat a 1000 miles from me..). But I would like to make it properly to use later with a larger battery with probably new alternator as well.
I was thinking about using Sterling regulator, I saw the note in one of the threads about lithium batteries that it can be set to charge lithium batteries. How? I cannot find any info in official papers from Sterling - is there possibility to customise charging regime?
If you are using one of those - can you help? Thanks.
Kind regards, Monika Matis
