Solbian Actual Dimensions with Velcro

How much does the actual size of the Solbian panels grow to when using velcro as an attachment, over the sizes specified in their literature?

I was speaking to a vendor and she indicated that the velcro is sewn onto the panel 8 to 10 mm away from the actual cells, but she didn't have any info on the distance of the cell from the actual edge of the panel.

I am trying to figure out the ultimate size of the SP50Q panels using velcro.

Also... what is the better of the two wire connection types? They have plug or soldered connection options.
