Solar/Power contractors - Household ok?

Hi guys,
I need a new inverter, power management system and help hooking up my new panels and wind gen. My question is - Would it be fine just to call the local solar contractor that probably just usually does households to come and do it? is it basically the same? or is it different for marine use?

Cheers!
