Solar panel color

Looking into installing some semi-flexible panels and the have an option of a black or white backing material. Would there be an issue with black when the outside temperature is high? As in Mexico high. Thinking the black panels may be hotter than the white or am I over thinking this?

Any material under the sun will become hotter the darker it is. But I think in this case its just a matter of colour contrast to the surface where you are putting your flexible pannels.
Butt, it has been written that high temperatures do not help electrical production, and I always wondered why they keep doing them in black instead of white materials.
I´ll be keeping one eye on this thread
