A new product coming from Orion Design to add sliding solar panels. Saw it on the Sprinter-Source Forum. Designed for vans and RVs, but looks like it could also work to get more solar on a crowded boat.

No - the slide-outs are self supporting. Those orange vertical objects in the CAD images I attached are actually safety flags for van applications. This product wont be available until next April. I'm asking the designer to post some videos of the prototypes.

They are not yet available since impact of COVID-19 has delayed their availability from Orion Designs. They are just starting pre-orders now.
