Question Sewable solar panels?

I was on the Emarine website looking for solar panels and they have some that can be velcroed or sewwed into place, like on top on bimini/dodger. They also have a model that can be flexed to the shaped of the cabin top. They are only .065" thick which sounds like a great thing. I'm wondering if anyone has these or have seen them in person, and what your thoughts are regarding actual durability. Thanks all!

Re: Sewable solar panels?

If the amt of energy they make is fine for your needs then that's that.

Re: Sewable solar panels?

I just looked at that thread again and realized the photo of the boat with the rigid frame and panels is my boat!

Re: Sewable solar panels?

I just noticed one of them on a neighbouring boat - I'll try and remember to take a photo tomorrow morning when I go out to work
