Correct. Each source must have the neutral/ground bond at the source, i.e. inverter, generator, or shorepower.

The safety wire (green/yellow-green) is to provide the lowest resistance path back to the source in the case of a fault in a metal-cased appliance.

Yes, and the AC distirution system must be isolated from all neutral/ground connections EXCEPT the single source providing power.
