San Francisco : Marine electricians

Hello!

I'm interested in hearing about any recommended marine electricians in the San Francisco bay area.

I received a quote from Svendsens which was about as much as a new Toyota truck!

And I'm waiting on a quote from Swedish Marine (who I bought my electronics from) for 4 weeks tomorrow, Alders told me it would take a week to get a quote. 3 weeks ago...

Thanks for your responses!

Are you looking for an electrician or an electronics installer?

I have used Johnson Hicks in Santa Cruz and Sausalito. You might give them a call.

Ryan Schofield dos good electrical work. Ad's in back of Lat38 if he's still there. Grat work, will try to sell you more work that you may want, so YOU need to know - he's a perfectionist and likes to upgrade, but will do what you want if you know what that is. YOU are the customer.

I've used Pete Rowland who is based in Vallejo and did excellent work on my Catalina 36:

Re: San Francisco : Marine electricians

Call Ken Grayson at Grayson Marine in San Rafael. He singlehandedly rewired and installed all new electronics in my Gulfstar 37 sloop in Sausalito. I know he has a couple of clients in San Francisco and is there on a regular basis. If you're nice and tell him who referred you-just mention S/v Egret, he can probably make some time for you. I would trust him with any boat-related task.
