I suggest hiring a qualified marine electrician to configure your electrical setup. This shouldn't take more than an hour and you will know it is safe. And you won't burn anything up.

You don't want to make guesses at voltages that can kill someone and have the potential to seriously damage equipment. Doing this through a forum is iffy at best. You really need someone to go to your boat who has the knowledge and experience to do this right.
