Or feed two different type banks from the same source?

(such as having the alternator feed to the battery switch and having 1 bank of AGMs and 1 bank of flooded cell batteries on Bat 1 and Bat 2 respectively.)

You should be ok there as well, as long as there is a Split between the two banks there wont be any problems.

First of all I don't have much experience with the Odyssey batteries, from what I know is that the only have small batteries. I know the Rolls/Surrette AGM will have a Group 24 and group 31 and just from the specs the Rolls/Surrette AGM seem to have more amp hours that most other batteries out there.

Now this is a new line that nobody has used in real world conditions. I can't pledge that these are going to be the best in the market or the worst in the market. The only thing I know is that Rolls/Surrette has always been known for having superior quality product. Once people begin to use them then we will know how they compare to all other manufactures of AGM batteries.

I have the Interstate U2500HC which is listed as an industrial battery (but fits the size of golf cart) at 275amp.

THey are worth checking out.

The problem with any early adopter is the willingness to work out the bugs no one has yet to encounter. I love new technology, but I know it is something of a gamble. You hope a good company (Surrette!) will make sure you are well taken care of, but often the test is time. Will they last? If the price and specs are right, we'll see!

Yes, That is correct. They are available all ready. It looks like their L16 size battery is the one to beat right now.

Okay, I got the spec's and it looks nice. So, who will buy and try these babies? ;-)

They are on my list now for when we need to replace (currently have the Trojan L16's flooded).

cheers,
Nick.
