I use two standard solar panels that can be adjusted to the angle of the sun. This adjusting ability makes the panels far more efficient. At the end of the day when we are cooking and using lights etc I run a 1kva Honda genny for a few hours. On one tank of fuel in the Honda I get three night of running. This arrangement works fine here on the Queensland coast.
