I finally figured it out - the transient next to me hooked up extra
power lines last night and knocked mine loose just enough to cause the issues.
So last night all was well, hooked to
shore power and running various things. Then the AC cut out and some GFCI tripped. I also started hearing a clunking sound. If I tried plugging in the AC it would surge, lights would dim and the breaker would trip. I then found if I tripped the "inverter
battery charger" breaker on the
shore power panel, all was fine, no
noise, ac would turn on.
I have a Truepower Combi 2000WPS. When the breaker for "inverter
battery charger" is reset, the clunking happens but there is no
alarm triggered on the Truepower - I took attached video.
Any thoughts on what to do next?
