Operating multi-bank charger with no load on one leg

I have an Xanrex TrueCharge2 battery charger. It has the capability of charging three separate batteries, and I have been using it in that capacity (house, starter, and genset). However, the genset battery has died, and since the genset does not work very well anyway I want to just use the charger with the house bank and the starter, at least for now. I get the impression from reading the manual (although not explicitly stated) that I can do this without harming the charger, even though one of the legs will not have a load. Does anyone know if my assumption is correct???

Shouldn't be a problem. I'd remove the unused one.

I'm afraid there is no logic nor reasoning when it comes to Xantrex equipment. Best I can come up with is that you have a 50% chance it will work. It is supposed to work I think but there I go reasoning which is invalid for this gear.
