NKE Auto in GPS Mode

I've worked on getting the NKE Autopilot to steer to a waypoint in my Furuno GPS. Anybody have any luck getting this to work. I have a heading sensor that is property configured to work with the NKE system but can't figure out the second input into the system.

I fear that it's not possible although every-time I talk to NKE they say is should work and then they give me a cryptic series of things to try - all to no avail.

just to refine a bit
With who are dealing in NKE? The support i got from then was excellent so far.
so you are using an NMEA input somewhere. Can you see/read the NMEA patern content somewhere?
Is it a gyropilot 2 or something older?
Is you GPS sending out data's properly (I'm sure it does, just to be sure..)
