new Mastervolt mastercahrge "plus" vs other chargers ?

Looks like Mastervolt has come out with a new series of battery chargers called "mastercharge Plus". They say they are designed to handle a range of input AC voltage and frequency, VSR, multibattery charging, extreme heat, Etc, Etc. These units are at a lower price than the original mastercharge units.

I would like to know what others experience has been with Mastervolt chargers and weather or not the new features in the " plus " series look like a helpful all in on

Re: new Mastervolt mastercahrge "plus" vs other chargers ?

I can only speak for my non-plus versions. I've had two; my 50amp charger was constantly connected to shore power to keep batteries topped up and ran flawlessly for years. I replaced it with the 100amp version and it has performed the same. (I like the fact that it will convert AC and supply your DC demands even if you take the battery away).

If I ever have to replace it, I'll certainly go for this new 'plus' version.
