need manual for West Marine WCU-15 inv/chgr

Help, I'm looking for a manual for a West Marine WCU-15 Inverter Charger mn: 288524 (at least I think it's an inverter/charger) it came with the boat and has not a shred of paperwork...so I'm not sure how it works or if it's hooked up properly...if anyone has a manual that I can get copied or some specifications from please advise. TIA
Sincerely,
Marek

Check the casing to see if it lists who built it for West Marine (at a guess, Xantex), and you can probably get a manual in .pdf, from their website.

Question any luck?

I have the same unit. Did you find a manual?

My guess is that this is an older Freedom 15 re badged with a West Marine logo. It is identical to this one except gray and labeled West Marine WCU-15:

Does your unit have a remote panel? That is my problem, I'm looking for which remote panel I can use.

I'm hoping the Link 1000 (Xantrex) will work.

thanks in advance

Mike

Sorry I took so long to get back to you...it is nearly identical to the freedom model...Xantrex tech support would not fax or copy the last copy of the manual that they had, but they did read me the bit switch settings so I could use it without a remote...they did know which new remotes were compatible..I suggest calling them and getting the info from the source (I can't remember what model works)...but the guy in india was quite helpful (aside from giving me a copy of the manual)....good luck. marek
