Most efficient 2 or 3 solar panel arch setup.

I need the most efficient solar panels possible. I have an available space of a 96 inch-wide arch. Below are the best options that I found so far, giving me 680, 540 or 450 Watts. Please let me know of any current models for sale that can do better. Also, what would be the best Controller and battery bank to match those panels?

I see posts mentioning some models that I can’t find online, maybe because they don’t make them anymore?

My current options:

(2) Kyocera KU340-8BCA:
  • Maximum power: 340 Watts
  • Cells per module: 80
  • Voltage at max power (Vmp): 41.2 Volts
  • Current at max power (Imp): 8.26 Amps
  • Open circuit voltage (Voc): 50.8 Volts
  • Short circuit current (Isc): 8.86 Amps
  • Power tolerance: +5/-0%
  • Series fuse rating: 15 Amps
  • Maximum DC system voltage: 1000 Volts
  • Dimensions: 65.43" x 51.97" x 1.81"
  • Connector type: Amphenol H4-UTX

(2) Kyocera KU270-6MCA:
  • Max Power: 270 Watts
  • Voltage at Max Power (Vmp): 31.0 V
  • Current at Max Power (Imp): 8.71 A
  • Open Circuit Voltage (Voc): 38.3 V
  • Short Circuit Current (Isc): 9.43 A
  • Max System Voltage: 1000 V
  • Series Fuse Rating: 15 A
  • Dimensions: 65.43" x 39" x 1.8"
  • Connectors/Cables: H4

(3) Kyocera KD150GX-LFU:
  • Max Power: 150 Watts
  • Voltage at Max Power (Vmp): 18.2 V
  • Current at Max Power (Imp): 8.25 A
  • Open Circuit Voltage (Voc): 22.5 V
  • Short Circuit Current (Isc): 8.87 A
  • Max System Voltage: 600 V
  • Series Fuse Rating: 15 A
  • Dimensions: 59.06" x 26.3" x 1.8"
  • Connectors/Cables: SMK
Thank you!

Re: Most efficient 2 or 3 solar panel arch setup.

Rather than two panels one in front of the other, I went with two end to end.
When you are at anchor, the wind is mostly on the nose unless you are anchored in a current.
This arrangement keeps at least one panel (mostly) in the sun rather than having a mast shadow on both at the same time.
Having a multihull, I have four panels, two 120 flexibles on an arch and a 100 walkable on each of the amas.
Between those and LifePo4 cells for the battery, Aerogel insulation on the rebuilt fridge/freezer and the hot water tank, we've reached electrical nirvana. No engine running to charge batteries at all.
