Max Power Marine Fuel Cell

Anybody ever heard of the Max Power Marine Fuel Cell.

I saw it at Sail Expo this year. It was discussed in another thread. Bottom line is too little power for the cost. It is an interesting idea, but dollar to Kilowatt, it is far less efficient than a diesel genset. Factor in the initial cost, and solar panels are the better alternative by far. Availability of fuel is another concern.

Yeah Kai.

I was also concerned about the fuel part myself?

So you actually got to see one of them at the Sail Expo in person? How big were they?

Myself. I trust solar and wind for my extra energy needs. I hope to install something like that on my Catalina one day. Providing that I can find a decent spot on the stern areas?!!!
