Master Volt battman pro wiring.

Hi,

I've purchased a mastervolt battman pro to upgrade my battery voltage meter.

Looking at the wiring diagram that came with it, I can understand most of it but I'm a little unsure where to put the negative shunt.

I've added a picture of the boats current wiring and the diagram that comes with the battman pro.

Should I put it between the house and start battery then run a cable from the shunt to the solenoid? Or can I just put it between the house battery and the solenoid?

take the 2 neg wires off the house battery. attache both to one side of shunt. make new short cable from house battery to shunt.
